Veeam Community Forums Digest for dandvo [Dec 11 - Dec 17, 2017]

Veeam Community Forums Digest December 11 - December 17, 2017 THE WORD FROM GOSTEV vSphere users, note that VMware Tools 10.2.0 is now generally available, and there are two major new features that make it quite a significantly release – so much I decided to highlight one here. First, this release finally adds offline bundles VIB which can be deploying using vSphere Update Manager to vSphere 5.5 and later ESXi hosts. Woohoo! Veeam Community Forums Digest for dandvo [Dec 18 - Dec 24, 2017]

Veeam Community Forums Digest December 18 - December 24, 2017   THE WORD FROM GOSTEV I'm writing this at the Christmas Eve knowing most of you'll probably read it only after the festive season is over. First feedback has been very positive and there are many blog posts popping up with reviews, so I decided to feature one that I liked because it covers many "unobvious" features other don'...

With Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve falling on the next two Sundays it seems like a good opportunity to have a short break before the next issue on the 7th of January 2018. It's been an incredible year of growth in the Azure Platform; with more new services introduced than I can list, an increased rate of adoption, and a general acceptance within Business that The Cloud has gone mainstream, and is not actually a fad. Conversations about cloud adoption are now "when" rather than "if". From an endjin perspective, we've seen a shift in the marketplace towards four main areas; process & governance around cloud adoption & and the formulation of new operational models, creating modern data platforms (including building and operationalizing Machine Learning models, and interactive data visualisations powered by analyt...
