UNIFIED ENDPOINT MANAGEMENT

NEW! Environment Manager Policy
Ease Windows 10 Migrations, Eliminate Logon Scripts, and Soothe Group Policy Pain

We are excited to announce the availability of Ivanti Environment Manager Policy—a NEW edition of Environment Manager focused on the core policy features that allows IT to meet end user expectations while simultaneously enforcing IT policy. With Environment Manager Policy, IT can:

·         Provide responsive, personalized, compliant and contextual desktops

·         Deliver a fast, full-featured Office 365 experience on virtual desktops

·         Eliminate slow logons

·         Eradicate complex logon scripts

·         Replace Group Policy on desktops

·         Accelerate Windows 10 migrations

Environment Manager Policy replaces logon script tedium and Group Policy maintenance burdens with a simple but powerful console for creating advanced, multi-threaded policies that configure the desktop dynamically based on user context. It also provides an easy way to capture the user's personality from a Windows 7, 8 or 10 desktop and transfer it smoothly to any new desktop or Windows 10 version, solving the problem of continuous migration.

File Director 4.5 Delivers OneDrive for Business Connector Improvements
Bidirectional OneDrive synchronization is now available

File Director 4.5 continues improvements to the OneDrive for Business Connector with the addition of bidirectional OneDrive synchronization. Updates made to files on map points using any File Director client or by using the OneDrive for Business web or desktop clients are now synchronized. This results in the file being synced whether it is accessed with either the File Director or OneDrive for Business client.

RES ONE Workspace Updated and Renamed as Ivanti Workspace Control, Whitelist Features Enhanced
Workspace Control 10.2 adds time-saving application whitelisting using file certificate

In its first release as part of the Ivanti family, RES ONE Workspace has been rebranded and renamed Ivanti Workspace Control. In addition to bringing the naming and look and feel in line with other products in the Ivanti product portfolio, Workspace Control 10.2 brings new application whitelisting enhancements designed to save IT time and simplify maintenance. The new enhancements include:

·         File Certificate-based Application Whitelisting allows IT to create rules to whitelist applications from a specific vendor or product name using the certificates of signed executables—providing the same level of security as file hashes, but with fewer rules and a lot less maintenance.

·         Enhanced set of APIs for creating a new certificate rule, updating an existing file certificate rule and getting a list of existing file certificate rules.

·         Application Whitelist Monitor simplifies security whitelisting across a large, dynamic application set by automating the generation and maintenance of hashes and file certificates.

·         Updated third party platform support including Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop 7.15 LTSR and the latest releases of macOS, CentOS, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
